Now that I’ve had a couple of days to reflect on this experience, I can put together a couple of cogent sentences about it. Something I learned in this experience is that I enjoy being in the control of a strong, hypnotic woman even at a distance. It helped me identify feelings of submission and desire for submission and look on them in constructive, positive ways. That’s something which is important to me, considering the kind of control I want to give over to my Lady. I also began to understand how fulfilling service can be, if I approach it from the right mindset. I can sometimes put up resistance to things I want to experience (trance for example) but this four-day exercise helped me see ways around that. Thank you.

Did I find this experience to be as exciting as tease and denial? Yes! If given the choice, I would choose to alternate between the two kinds of experiences (two tease and denial balanced by one service). I like how both make me feel! With a tease and denial session, I get that “heart-in-throat”, cock-throbbing anticipation that’s can be so wonderful. With the service experience, I got an uplifting chest-opening (big-hearted) feeling. I want them both. I’m greedy!

Sounds reasonable to me :)

I think we all miss opportunities to show people how much we care. We also miss little opportunities to demonstrate control or surrender. Having a healthy, happy relationship doesn’t just happen. It’s a lot of work – fun work, true – but conscious effort nonetheless.

It has been a few days since I completed this activity and these are my thoughts.

The activity was an opportunity for me to reflect on improving my submission and service as way of showing my love for my “Budding D”. It’s not that I don’t do this at all, but realise I definitely miss opportunities to do it and that at times I forget my place :-) and argue back. I always regret doing it and always wonder why I did it in the first place! “Not Pleasing Feels So Very Bad”

The activity reminded me to be more obedient and to actively find opportunities to serve and please her. You have shown me again that the excitement of submitting and serving is ample reward.

“Budding D” has returned home after being away two weeks away and I have been serving her with renewed zeal. In appreciation she even said “Good Boy”…. a chance for me to reply with a throaty “Oh, thank you. You don’t know what it does to me when you say that…”

Choosing between T&D or service related activities, for me is like choosing between strawberries and chocolate ….. please oh please can I have both? The combination is exquisite!

Certain things that each of you have said during this time have really, really touched me. This is one of them.

I loved the fact that I got to help someone, and bring pleasure to you at the same time.

Was this as exciting for you as say, tease and denial? Yes it was, but on a different level. It was mentally and spiritually exciting to be able to serve at the instruction of a dominant lady.

If you had a choice, which would you choose: T&D or service related activities? Can’t I have both??? ;) In the short term, the tease and denial may bring more instant gratification, but service related activities give more personal satisfaction of a job well done.

What, if any, impact did this have on your views and feelings about submission and service? It reaffirmed my knowledge and feelings that I am submissive, and proud to be me. Also that I take great pleasure in doing for others, particularly a wonderful dominant lady, who gives so much of herself to her friends.

The service activity helped me to re-center my thoughts on doing for others and being more conscious of the needs of others, which I think is certainly a positive.

The T&D activity was exciting. The challenge in part is to keep focus on one’s role within that activity. For me within the T&D activity, there is a tendency to focus on myself, my needs and my wants. It is very necessary to remember – and helpful to be reminded – that one’s actions within that activity are at the direction of and should be for the enjoyment and pleasure of another.

The experiences were different, but each in its way was a reminder that an important part of submission is the surrender of one’s own immediate desires or needs to the benefit of another. For me, each serves as a change of pace for the other.
