This last set of experiences seems to have had deep effects on me. In particular, I start each day by dropping to my knees. After relaxing and focussing on my breathing, I spend a few moments of peaceful blankness, then my heart is filled with the presence of the one I love. Then I feel my resistance, still present, always questioning, always with an argument and a caution to not give in, not surrender. The difference is my awareness that this is all a choice, the way you hold on, the way you let go of unhappiness. I rise and go to Her filled with desire, not to own or consume, but to please.
